Llama Association
Our purpose is to engage in activities relating to the education of the public in the many uses of llamas; to further educate members in the care, training and welfare of llamas; and to broaden the market base for llamas by promoting and
encouraging the sale of llamas as pets, packers, livestock guardians, breeding
stock, show animals and as alternate source of wool.
We start off the year with our annual membership meeting in March. Our no groom Husker Hobo Show and dinner/auction is in April, and you won’t want to miss this one!
Check out the calendar of events for other shows, youth activities and llama treks in between. The Nebraska State Fair Llama Show wraps up the year in the fall. Fiber events are a part of our shows. Look us over, come to our events and join as a member!

Hi NLA Members, I am learning and experimenting with out new NLA website and would really appreciate everyone's feedback!!!

Time to start thinking about shows coming up this spring. NLA is considering a fun non-ALSA addition to the HOBO show: 'Virgin/Maiden Performance' for adults on Friday afternoon. Ask your llamas that haven't been shown in a performance class before if they'd be interested in competing for fun with other newbies! How about a Walking Fiber clas...
